Wooden housebuilding from ancient times on territories of moder Germany, Scandinavian Countries and Finland, Northern and Western regions of Ukraine. In wooded areas settled by humans, houses featured wooden elements or were built entirely of wood. even in steppe poorly wooded terrain rooftop frames were always made out of wood
This is due to the fact that wood is a "Warm" material. In the span of mileniums people didn't have alternative materials that could rival the wood. With the advancment of scientifically technlogical process the situation, of course, changed. Appeared numerous building materials on mineral base - silicate or ceramical bricks, concrete, aerated concrete and others. Usage of the earleir named materials in all fields of construction based on the practicality, strength, durability, etc. of the builds made of these mineral materials
Nobody doubts the fact that a wooden building cannot compare it's Ceramical brick or concrete counterpart. But not a single mineral material can show off some important criterions that the wood has - full renewability in the nature, universal usage (parquet plank, guitar, load-bearing beam or prop alike) and, of course, the ability to create uncopyable feel of warmth and cosiness. Also worth canceling the fact of rising prises of mineral construction materials, related to constant raise of the prises for electricity which leads to constant search for new solutions in the field of construction
